Our Founding, Mission, Values
Amy Kinsley, DVM, PhD, founded the Kinsley Lab at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 with a mission to understand complex systems and use this understanding to promote human, animal, and environmental health.
So far, we have studied the influence of complex system structure on pathogen, invasive species, and pollution spread in aquatic and agricultural systems. Recently, we've applied our skills to better understand COVID-19 transmission in the US. Read our past publications here.
We value creativity, diversity, and flexibility, and are excited to tackle problems across disciplines. Contact us
